Ultra high speed broadband in housing: what is the future in Luxembourg?

With a coverage of 95% of dwellings, Luxembourg is the second best European country in terms of future-proof Internet infrastructure (taking into account fibre Internet and coaxial cable).

However, there are at least 70,000 households unable to benefit. One of the main obstacles is the outdated wiring inside buildings and homes, which is usually the responsibility of the owner(s).

MyConnectivity G.I.EThe Ministry of State's initiative to improve connectivity practices in Luxembourg. In order to increase the connectivity of the Luxembourg territory, new standards will be put in place, in order to allow more dwellings to have an ultra high speed internet connection.
