The efforts you have made to make your interior welcoming should not be lost by bad lighting, which would produce a hospital atmosphere in your home!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Several light sources are needed...<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The secret of pleasant and effective lighting is to use more light sources.<\/span><br><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> This is especially true for the living room, where family and friends gather: your living room.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Generally speaking, the light in the living room should be bright enough to illuminate the entire room.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">And the ideal is to have a chandelier or spotlights with dimmers. This system makes it easy to create an intimate atmosphere.<\/span><br><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> If you choose a pendant with a shade, make sure it is high enough to light most of the room. If it is too low, it will tend to constrict the walls and shrink the room.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In addition to your suspension or ceiling lamp, you should always combine one or more direct light sources.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">For example, install a reading light or a table lamp near your favourite sofa or armchair to see clearly when you read in the evening. A soft light, but bright enough to read by.<br><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In the dining room, make sure you place a light source above the table. When dimmed, it will produce the same effect as candles. Perfect for romantic dinners!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>...to create a warm atmosphere<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Do you understand? Depending on where they are placed, the different lamps can have both a practical purpose, i.e. lighting for seeing, and, very importantly, creating a particular atmosphere.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To have a nice light in your living room, the rule is to place light points in every corner. As we said, why not, for example, a reading light near the sofa and another lamp in the opposite corner of the room.<\/span><br><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Always arrange them in such a way as to highlight a particular area or object, a painting or a piece of furniture, that you wish to emphasise.<\/span><br><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> A place that is not lit is a place that disappears, making the room seem smaller.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To create a pleasant atmosphere, do not hesitate to use coloured lamps, which can reinforce the desired mood. For example, a slightly red or yellow light will give a warm impression.
