Its location, only 15 km from the capital, in the heart of unspoilt nature, makes it particularly attractive to people looking for all the facilities without the disadvantages of the \"big city\". <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Located in the canton of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/blog\/grevenmacher-a-la-fois-moderne-et-authentique\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Grevenmacher<\/a>Junglinster is the most populous municipality in the eastern part of Luxembourg and the third largest in the country. It offers an ideal living environment, combining proximity to the capital with the benefits of the countryside. Since the completion of the Junglinster bypass in 2015, an important link between the cities of Echternach and Luxembourg, the quality of life of the inhabitants has greatly improved. Quality of life is our advantage,\" says Romain Reitz, the mayor. We are away from the hustle and bustle, but still very close to everything you need.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>A well thought-out housing offer<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/junglinster2-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Housing construction Junglinster\" class=\"wp-image-10682\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/junglinster2-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/junglinster2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/junglinster2-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/junglinster2-18x12.jpg 18w, https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/junglinster2.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Today, a number of real estate projects are underway that will allow the municipality to expand its horizons, while ensuring that it does not lose its soul. \"The biggest project at the moment, called \"JongM\u00ebtt L\u00ebnster\", is supported by the municipality. It concerns the development and construction of 3.5 hectares. It will include 37 houses accessible to people over 60 years old and people with reduced mobility. These homes will be rented according to a distribution key that has yet to be defined, but priority will be given to people who have a link with the commune. Next door, the municipality will also put up land for sale on which buyers can plan their own construction, at a cost of around 20% less than the usual market price. \"Other projects are still in the pipeline. 133 flats and houses, with commercial spaces, will be built as of September 2017, while 43 flats are being built by the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Nationale des Habitations \u00e0 Bon March\u00e9 (SNHBM),\" adds Romain Reitz.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The new PAG is currently being finalised and is expected to come into force in August 2018. \"One of the ideas we have is to be able to offer housing for young families in the municipality, at reasonable and affordable prices.\" Other private housing and residential projects are also in the pipeline. The infrastructure is following the same pace to meet the new needs. \"We still have to make adjustments to the schools and halfway houses in Junglinster and Bourglinster. In Gonderange, work is underway to accommodate 180 children,\" says the mayor. Since 2015, the municipality has also had a brand new high school to accommodate all the young people in the region.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<section id=\"section-3-14695\" class=\"ct-section\" ><div class=\"ct-section-inner-wrap\"><div id=\"div_block-4-14695\" class=\"ct-div-block\" ><div id=\"new_columns-7-14695\" class=\"ct-new-columns\" ><div id=\"div_block-8-14695\" class=\"ct-div-block\" ><div id=\"div_block-14-14695\" class=\"ct-div-block\" ><\/div><\/div><div id=\"div_block-9-14695\" class=\"ct-div-block\" ><h1 id=\"headline-11-14695\" class=\"ct-headline\">What are the property prices at the moment?<\/h1><div id=\"text_block-12-14695\" class=\"ct-text-block\" >Prices are slowing down. It will soon include a large hall suitable for all ball sports and a second hall that will house four tennis courts, with a refreshment area in between. In addition, there will be a multi-purpose hall, which will be perfectly equipped to host other sports and cultural activities in the greatest comfort. Outside, athletics tracks and a multi-sports field accessible to all will complete the complex. The sharing of public space between all users is a theme that the mayor feels strongly about. \"From now on, the speed limit in the streets of the municipality will be 30 km\/h. We are currently negotiating with the State and the Roads and Bridges Department to set up a shared space in the centre of Junglinster, a meeting zone where the speed limit would be 20 km\/h. In the new housing estates, cars already have to respect this limit. Everyone should be given priority.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Economic and commercial activity zones in full expansion<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In terms of trade and crafts, the municipality of Junglinster is working hard to accommodate all companies that wish to do so. \"The old Langwies area has been full for a long time. We are developing a new area \"Um L\u00ebnsterbierg\", opposite the RTL antennas. It will be completed by the end of 2018, but several companies have already decided to set up there and we should welcome a regional branch of the SNCT dedicated to the technical control of vehicles. We have also obtained permission from the state to extend the Langwies zone to an area of 5.7 hectares. The project does not yet have a name and the PAP must be completed, but we will find shops, offices and craft companies there. Doctors, pharmacies, administrations, banks, shops, crafts, nurseries, Junglinster has a wide variety of shops and services to meet all the needs of its population. And the eleven other villages of the commune, although they have experienced more moderate development, have been entitled to major modernisation and sanitation work over the last few years.
