Here are a few tips for creating a master suite in your home.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">What is a master suite?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The master suite is a place that combines at least 3 functions: the bedroom, the bathroom and the bedroom. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/blog\/dressing-mode-demploi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the dressing room<\/a>. The minimum size for creating one is 14 m\u00b2. Depending on the space available, it is possible to add a living room or an office area.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Partitions or not?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If the trend is towards open-plan living spaces, it is best to think about your living habits before making your choice. It can be quite unpleasant for the person who doesn't have to get up to hear the sounds of their partner getting ready in the morning. A running shower, a hairdryer and lights on will prevent the person still in bed from sleeping. Open spaces should therefore be avoided when the couple does not have the same rhythm.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Our tips for designing your master suite<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Light: ideally, each part of a master suite should benefit from natural light. In the case of different partitioned spaces, partitions should be used to let in light. Transparent or stopping halfway up, the partition brings privacy and delimits the spaces while letting the light filter in.<br><\/span><br><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> Moisture<\/strong> A bathroom in a bedroom is the dream of many, but it can also be a source of inconvenience. When building it, you must not neglect the technical aspects: drainage, ventilation, etc. Make sure that the water vapour produced during your bath is properly evacuated. Also remember to always ventilate your master suite well.<br><\/span><br><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> The dressing room<\/strong> Whether it is made to measure or bought in kit form, the dressing room must be functional. Open or with doors? That's up to you! However, if you opt for an open dressing room, order must be maintained at the risk of breaking the restful atmosphere of your parental suite.<br><\/span><br><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong> Traffic<\/strong> Leave enough space between the different elements that make up your private sleeping area. You should be able to move around without bumping into furniture.
