Portable, inflatable or kit spas, to be placed on a terrace or directly in your garden, and built-in or semi-recessed spas.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The portable spa<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If you choose an above ground spa, it should be installed on a level surface. If there is a slight unevenness, you can correct this by adding sand until you have a level surface. If it is an inflatable, a tarpaulin placed on the floor will protect your hot tub from the elements that could puncture the rubber. A concrete slab is still the most stable and safe surface to install a hot tub in your garden.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The built-in spa<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Although it requires more work than its above-ground counterpart, the built-in spa is becoming increasingly popular. It is preferable to have the installation carried out by a professional: earthworks, waterproofing, connection and water drainage...<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Advice: Before choosing a location for your spa, consider the water and electricity connections. In some cases, the construction of a technical room will be unavoidable.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Maintaining your outdoor spa<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">When placed outdoors, the spa requires more maintenance than if it were installed indoors. The first thing to do is to protect the water by closing your spa or by placing a protective cover. This solution also helps to control the energy consumption of your installation by keeping the water temperature at a maximum.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Spa water treatment<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To ensure that the water in your spa is not damaged, it should be filtered, disinfected with chlorine and its pH should be regularly checked and corrected if necessary.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Cleaning a spa<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A thorough cleaning should be carried out regularly. Follow the instructions in the manual and the advice of your installer. You will need to drain the water and use a mild cleaner to remove any dirt. Also clean the pipes and elbows with a product specially designed for draining. Some models have a water vacuum. If your spa is made of wood, treat the wood and varnished surfaces once a year. For unfinished wood, a waterproofing treatment is necessary to make it resistant to humidity.
