You can find all these figures in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/blog\/athome-magazine-les-prix-immobiliers-au-luxembourg-oct-2018\/\">atHomeMagazine Autumn 2018<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Rent: \u20ac1000 rent for a studio<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>This autumn 2018, it will cost an average of \u20ac1,486 per month to rent a flat and \u20ac2,740 for a house in the Grand Duchy <\/strong>(all surfaces combined).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Over the last 12 months, average rental prices have risen more sharply in comparison with previous years. Specifically, rents for flats have increased by 5%, and those for houses by 6%. With the exception of 3 and 4-bedroom houses, this increase concerns all types of flats and houses. A new threshold has now been crossed: the average rent for a studio apartment in Luxembourg is now 1,009 euros.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It should be noted that the Centre region alone concentrates a majority of the country's rental advertisements. This is particularly true of the city of Luxembourg, which has the effect of pulling up the average rental price.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Sales : Towards an acceleration of the price rise?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>In September 2018, expect to spend an average of \u20ac460,983 to buy a flat and \u20ac764,860 for a house <\/strong>(old property - all surfaces).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The average price per square metre of an old flat is 5,390 euros this autumn 2018. For a house, it is now 4,308 euros\/m2.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">There has been an increase of 8% in posted sales prices for flats, and 9% for houses for sale over the last 12 months. As for rentals, this increase is also more marked than in the previous period, 2016-2017. Could this be a sign of an acceleration of the price rise?
