To go into more detail, we suggest you look at the average prices by type of accommodation.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Prices of flats according to the number of rooms<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In the autumn of 2018, a budget of \u20ac460,983 (posted price, all surfaces combined) is required to buy an old flat in Luxembourg, an increase of 8% over the last 12 months. <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Prices have particularly increased in the 2nd and 3rd quarter of this year.<br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">With the exception of studios, all types of flats have seen their prices rise between 7 and 12 % over one year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/px-appart-lux-automne2018.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"normal aligncenter wp-image-11715\" src=\"https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/px-appart-lux-automne2018.png\" alt=\"Flat prices in Luxembourg 2018\" width=\"600\" height=\"502\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/px-appart-lux-automne2018.png 732w, https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/px-appart-lux-automne2018-300x251.png 300w, https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/px-appart-lux-automne2018-14x12.png 14w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Flat prices per square metre<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Last March the price of flats passed the \u20ac5,000 per square metre mark. Today, the square metre has reached \u20ac5,340, which is 9% more than a year ago.  This increase also affects all types of flats, except for studios.
