Are you wondering how much it will cost to rent your flat in Luxembourg? Here's an overview.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Rental property prices in Luxembourg<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The rent is the fixed part of your rental budget. According to our study in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/blog\/les-prix-immobiliers-au-luxembourg-en-octobre-2018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">atHome Magazine Autumn 2018<\/a>The average rent for a studio is 1000 \u20ac, for a flat 1486 \u20ac and for a house 2740 \u20ac. The majority of rentals are in the central region, which explains such high prices. This year again, rental prices in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg have increased by 5 to 6 %.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Real estate agency fees<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This is a fee that generally amounts to 1 month's rent. Depending on the agency, this can be doubled. They are entirely the responsibility of the tenant. The agency fee for a rental covers: visits, administrative work and drawing up the rental lease.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The rental guarantee<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/blog\/garanties-locatives\/\">rental guarantee<\/a> is paid to the owner of the flat or house to be rented. It can also be paid into a bank account in the name of the tenant. The amount of the rental guarantee cannot exceed 3 months' rent. This guarantee serves to protect the landlord in the event of unpaid rent and deterioration of the property.
