A new year means new decorating inspiration and 2019 is proving to be a good year! Magazines, decoration shops, galleries... we set out to discover the major decoration trends for 2019. Here are our 7 favourites!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wall units<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Serious competitors of the low sideboards with their pure lines, the tall units are back. They are mainly found in two-door or showcase versions to display our most beautiful objects. Made of wood or metal, with glass or wicker fronts, it doesn't matter as long as they are over 120 cm high.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caning<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For some time now, wicker has been making a comeback, particularly in the garden furniture collections. This time, it is going out the door to create an old Paris atmosphere in our interiors. A major trend in decorating in 2019, wicker is found on furniture, chairs and occasional sofas in natural or more contemporary colours such as dark green, petrol blue or purple.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The coral colour<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Coral is undoubtedly the colour of the year 2019. Tableware, carpets, bed linen...it's everywhere. Whether used in small touches or in a total decorating look, it warms up our interior. For an antique chic style, we marry it with ochre.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dried flowers<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sweet reminders of our childhood and family homes, dried flowers are making a comeback. Single stems in a soliflore or a romantic bouquet, we love natural or coloured dried flowers. Want to go hunting? Go in search of a still-decorated wedding globe.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Berber carpets<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

They are preferably chosen in light colours with black geometric patterns. Whether as a hallway rug or as a maxi rug, craftsmanship has never been so stylish. If you're more of a bohemian chic, choose a colourful, long-pile rug.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cabinet of curiosity style<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The purified volumes of Scandinavian decoration are now giving way to a more charged style. We have fun collecting various and unusual objects to create a joyful bazaar. The office and living room are inspired by curiosity cabinets where the paintings are just frames and the objects, dating from another time, are souvenirs of unknown families.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ball lamps<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In terms of lighting, the sphere is played out solo or in teams for chandeliers and accent lamps that are all round. Crystal-like glass globes mounted on steel wire or wicker balls creating shadows on the walls, this year's lighting fixtures are turning our heads.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n
