Choosing your accommodation when you move to a city depends on several criteria directly linked to your lifestyle. Here is a look at the main districts and their advantages. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Residential areas
<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Limpertsberg, Merl or Belair<\/a> benefit from an excellent geographical location. With their 1930s residences or their contemporary villas, they are an invitation to calm just a few steps from the city centre. There are many parks (Edouard Andr\u00e9 Park, Merl Park, Tony Neuman Park) ideal for walks with children. This privileged and very international environment propels them into the top 3 of the most expensive price per m2 (12,868 euros for a flat in Limpertsberg in October 2019).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other residential areas: Cent and Hamm<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lively neighbourhoods <\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Grund and the Clausen will appeal to nightlife enthusiasts, while lovers of old architecture will turn to the Upper Town, the capital's centre. The railway station district (Bonnevoie Nord) is characterised by its social mix, its privileged access to the public transport network, its green spaces and its local shops.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The business district: The Kirchberg <\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With the presence of the European institutions and large companies, this district also has numerous sports and cultural infrastructures. It should be noted that the average price per m2 of a flat is among the most expensive on the market, at 11,159 euros.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new face of Gasperich<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

An additional 6,000 inhabitants are expected by 2025 in the Ban de Gasperich<\/a> with the Cloche d'Or district, an area that has been totally transformed in recent years. Large companies are setting up there (PWC, Deloitte, etc.) and attracting new populations. A direct link to the airport via the tram is expected by next year. In addition, the French primary school and the Lyc\u00e9e Vauban have been located there since 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
