Throughout September, our brokers took the floor to answer all your questions.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Loan judgement no. 1: The mortgage rate would be set at the customer's discretion<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It is sometimes difficult to understand why one person's rate is not the same as another's and why it is more advantageous. It seems unfair and you think that it has been set at the customer's head.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This is a common misconception that is rather simplistic since the rate depends more on your project and your profile than on your head. The bank generally takes three criteria into account. So when you hear that using a broker doesn't cost you anything, you are skeptical and assume that your rate will be higher than going directly through a bank.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">But don't be fooled, with atHomeFinance, there are no unpleasant surprises: it is actually the banks that remunerate the broker in the form of commissions. But it's not always easy to put money aside each month to make the purchase a reality. You tell yourself that without a nest egg, the bank will refuse your loan application and so there's no point in going ahead. This is not entirely true... You can borrow without a down payment on condition that you use a state guarantee by proving three years of savings at 290\u20ac per year, blocking an investment in favour of the bank or even taking out a guarantee on another property.
