{"id":1949,"date":"2011-01-28T10:50:29","date_gmt":"2011-01-28T09:50:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/services\/conseils\/?p=1949"},"modified":"2022-05-10T17:50:15","modified_gmt":"2022-05-10T15:50:15","slug":"apply-for-assistance-and-financing-a-locative-guarantee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/en\/louer\/demander-laide-etatique-au-financement-dune-garantie-locative\/","title":{"rendered":"Applying for state support to finance a rental guarantee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>People who want to rent a house, but who do not have the necessary means to finance a rental guarantee (solvency guarantee or deposit) required by the landlord, can apply for assistance in financing this guarantee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The conditions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The application for rental guarantee funding can be made by any person who :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>is major;<\/li><li>is legally entitled to reside in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and is registered with the population office of a commune in the Grand Duchy;<\/li><li>is neither the owner nor the usufructuary of another dwelling, whether in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg or abroad;<\/li><li>has entered into a lease agreement for the territory of the Grand Duchy which constitutes his main and permanent residence;<\/li><li>has concluded a contract with a financial institution to deposit a sum equivalent to the amount of aid paid by the State to the lessor and to pay this sum to the State, on simple request by the latter, notably by means of a pledge contract.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<section id=\"section-3-14695\" class=\"ct-section\" ><div class=\"ct-section-inner-wrap\"><div id=\"div_block-4-14695\" class=\"ct-div-block\" ><div id=\"new_columns-7-14695\" class=\"ct-new-columns\" ><div id=\"div_block-8-14695\" class=\"ct-div-block\" ><div id=\"div_block-14-14695\" class=\"ct-div-block\" ><\/div><\/div><div id=\"div_block-9-14695\" class=\"ct-div-block\" ><h1 id=\"headline-11-14695\" class=\"ct-headline\">What are the property prices at the moment?<\/h1><div id=\"text_block-12-14695\" class=\"ct-text-block\" >Prices are slowing down. What are the trends for the coming months?<\/div><a id=\"link_button-13-14695\" class=\"ct-link-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/blog\/marche-immobilier\/prix\/tendances-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\"  >Read the analysis<\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Prerequisites<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The following income conditions also apply to the grant:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>the applicant's income does not exceed 2.5 times the <a title=\"Guaranteed Minimum Income - New Window\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mss.public.lu\/publications\/parametres_sociaux\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">guaranteed minimum income<\/a> (RMG) ;<\/li><li>the monthly rent must not exceed approximately EUR 1,250.<\/li><li>The amount of aid to be granted cannot exceed 3 months' rent.
