Here we give you our advice.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Making the decision to sell<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">There are several reasons for selling: a need for change, decor, children leaving home, financial worries, or a professional transfer.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">But when is the best time to sell?&nbsp; <\/span><br><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> Look at what is happening in the market as a whole and especially what is best for your personal situation. Because even if some periods seem better than others for selling, there is no such thing as a bad time.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Preparing your property<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Tidy up and finalise any outstanding repairs. Make sure your property is spotless inside and out. You may just need to clean and de-clutter.  And why not consult a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/blog\/pourquoi-faire-du-home-staging\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Home staging<\/a>&nbsp;?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Choosing an estate agent<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Your agent will be responsible for advertising, viewing your home, and the legal requirements of selling your property. You should choose your agent carefully.<\/span><br><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You can consult several agents in your area before making a decision.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Once all the details have been finalised, you will sign a mandate with your new estate agent which will outline the commission, estimated selling price, term of the mandate, etc. You may wish to seek independent legal advice to ensure that you understand the terms and conditions of the agreement.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Determining a selling price<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/blog\/comment-estimer-la-valeur-de-mes-biens\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">evaluate your property<\/a> by your real estate agent who is an expert in this field.
