This is an additional advantage for the small community, which is attracted by its living environment. The rural town has also been able to attract numerous companies to its territory. &nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Located in the heart of the country, the municipality of Bissen has the distinction of hosting numerous companies on its territory. These include ArcelorMittal and Luxlait. Every day, more than 2,000 people come to work in the town's business park. The presence of activities is not new.  At the end of the 19th<sup>\u00e8me<\/sup> In the 19th century, it housed a mechanical nail factory and a wire drawing mill. In the 1970s, Goodyear also established facilities in the municipality.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">300 more inhabitants in 10 years<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This is nevertheless a great success when you consider that the municipality of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.athome.lu\/blog\/recherche\/resultats\/tr\/by\/w\/a,Bissen#Annonces immobili\u00e8res Bissen\">Bissen<\/a> has no more than 2,905 inhabitants (in 2014). The number of inhabitants has increased especially in the last ten years. In 2006, Bissen still had only 2,600 inhabitants. In terms of characteristics, the vast majority of the population is of Luxembourg nationality (almost 1,900 people). They are followed by the Portuguese, who number a little over 600 who have chosen to settle here. They are followed, far behind, by the French (72) and the Belgians (70).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Entertainment for young and old<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In order to cope with this demographic development, the municipality has invested heavily in recent years in its school facilities (early years, pre-school and primary). A new day care centre has also been built in order to significantly increase the capacity. The \"Un der Atert\" house can currently accommodate 161 children and operates throughout the year, with the exception of one week at Christmas and two weeks in August. A cr\u00e8che is also in operation for children aged 2 months to 4 years who are not yet at school. Older children and seniors have not been forgotten. Various community halls, a youth centre and various sports facilities (especially for tennis and football) complete the range of facilities for exchanges, meetings and events. Bissen also participated in the financing of the NordPool, the aquatic complex located in Colmar Berg. In addition to these structures, there is the vast area of discovery that the hundreds of hectares of surrounding forests provide for outdoor sports and leisure activities. The commune, via its environment commission, regularly organises nature outings. Some twenty associations are committed to bringing the commune to life throughout the year.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<section id=\"section-3-14695\" class=\"ct-section\" ><div class=\"ct-section-inner-wrap\"><div id=\"div_block-4-14695\" class=\"ct-div-block\" ><div id=\"new_columns-7-14695\" class=\"ct-new-columns\" ><div id=\"div_block-8-14695\" class=\"ct-div-block\" ><div id=\"div_block-14-14695\" class=\"ct-div-block\" ><\/div><\/div><div id=\"div_block-9-14695\" class=\"ct-div-block\" ><h1 id=\"headline-11-14695\" class=\"ct-headline\">What are the property prices at the moment?<\/h1><div id=\"text_block-12-14695\" class=\"ct-text-block\" >Prices are slowing down. It is worth noting that the Klengbousbierg development zone, where the major players mentioned at the beginning of this article are located, does not cause any problems in terms of traffic, as it is situated outside the municipality and can be reached directly from the main road and the motorway. Accessibility is another of Bissen's attractions. The municipality is particularly well connected by road. The capital (at least the Kirchberg) is about 25 kilometres away and can be reached in about 20 minutes via the Nordstrooss. The municipality also benefits from an extensive range of public transport services.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Houses for sale<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Various real estate projects have been built in Bissen in recent years to support its development. Others are underway, such as the \"Op den Knapp\" project, where some twenty individual houses are being built. To buy one of these houses, you will have to pay more than 600,000 euros, and much more for the largest ones.<\/span><br><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> According to statistics from www.atHome.lu, the average advertised price of houses is 685,000 euros.
