The "Tiny House" phenomenon

"Tiny House": does the term ring a bell? They are small, or rather tiny wooden houses, usually on wheels, which have the particularity of offering all the necessary comfort in a very small space.

Tiny House: a solution to the housing crisis?

This phenomenon was born in the United States in the 2000s, following the subprime crisis. At that time, tiny houses appeared as a solution for cheaper housing.

Today, they are of interest to the general public, and in particular to all those who have a desire for freedom! For some years now, tiny houses have been enjoying growing success in Europe.
By the way, in the same trend, micro-apartments are becoming more and more common in large cities.

Designers get involved

Please note that when we talk about tiny houses, we are talking about mini-homes with a living area of no more than 20 m2 ... but which allow you to live comfortably, or at least offer all the necessities of daily life.

Designers and interior architects have naturally seized on the phenomenon. They compete in ingenuity to make the living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom "fit" into this small space! The secret is to optimise every corner as much as possible!

Take a look!
