Dello is a small, quiet village of around 6,000 inhabitants located less than 20 minutes from the center of the city of Brescia; less than 40 minutes from Lake Garda and 1 hour 15 minutes from Milan city center. The castle is located in a central area directly on the main square of the village called “Piazza Roma”. The location is ideal and allows access within a 100m radius to municipal services, shops, clinics and pharmacies, public and cultural places as well as the weekly market on the signposted “Piazza Roma”. In medieval times, the castle was the main fortification of a larger defensive system that protected the city. The last major modifications to the castle date from the 19th century and in recent years several consolidation, recovery and renovation works have been carried out, allowing the entire castle a new life within the town of Dello. Today the castle serves as a main residence but it is also used for cultural events and tastings thanks to its professional kitchen as well as its large reception room with its unique and preserved charm. Its two converted and renovated outbuildings will also allow you to benefit from a rental and/or tourist activity.
