Interview : Meet your broker Quentin!

Quentin has been part of our team of brokers since the beginning of atHomeFinance. He is a real expert in mortgage brokerage and gave us an interview to share his advice and experience. We let you discover his profile!

  1. Moien! Or I would say Hello, you who speak English, you who speak French.ow well? 
    Hello ! I am doing very well as always !
  2. Can you tell us about your background in a few words?
    My background did not predestine me at all towards the field of mortgage brokerage. Indeed, I had a literary baccalaureate and I did my higher studies in English before starting a training in the banking field. This is how I worked for a few years in the bank in France before joining the Crédit Expert adventure and then atHomeFinance.
  3. Do you have a special personal mantra for home loans?
    Every day is a new opportunity to do better than the day before?
  4. What is the most unusual meeting you have ever had?
    When I financed a client who was obviously very satisfied because he told his whole company about me. Following this recommendation, I was surprised to welcome three of his colleagues. But please note that I am not talking about three separate meetings, but one meeting for three different projects. At atHomeFinance we know how to make the most of our time while being efficient!
  5. What is the phrase you repeat most often to your clients?
    "A good loan structure is just as important as a good rate", as many people tend to focus only on the rate when in a financing package everything counts.
  6. Explain to us in one sentence the outstanding balance insurance.
    It is a protection for the customers generally in case of death. The insurance will take over the loan, especially in the case of a couple, so that the co-borrower does not have to pay the entire loan.
  7. What is the company value that represents you the most and that you apply daily?
    It's hard to choose one because they all fit in with our way of working. But I would say "consumer first" because I am very patient for my clients, more so than for myself. I always do my best for them, no matter how long it takes. I will persevere until they have the best financing for their project.
