Interview : Meet Stéphane, our Business Developer!

Discover the portrait of the week! 

He first joined atHomeFinance as a mortgage broker and is now a Business Developer. Stéphane is in constant contact with the Real Estate Professionals in order to provide them with a real service and to help them develop their business. Indeed, he regularly provides information on the current trend of interest rates and the market, on the legislation in force and by proposing to their potential customers concrete, fast and personalized financing solutions. We let you discover his profile!

  1. Moien! How are you? 
    Moses! Mir gett et ganz gut! Yes, I've been taking Luxembourgish lessons since October last year.
  2. Can you tell us about your background in a few words?
    I have a rather "classic" background from the banking world with a solid experience in real estate credit financing. During all these years I have held several positions. First as a financing advisor, then as a regional coordinator, and finally as a financing manager and branch manager. I have always been in contact with real estate professionals (real estate agents, builders, promoters, etc.), regardless of the position I held.

  3. So you, Stéphane, are not a broker. Explain your role to us!
    Today, I am a Business Developer at atHomeFinance. My main role consists in canvassing Real Estate Professionals in order to present them the services of atHomeFinance and our partnership agreement. I also enjoy maintaining the relationships and links that have been built between these professionals and atHomeFinance in order to build their loyalty.
  4. What do you like most about atHomeFinance?
    The work atmosphere! At atHomeFinance, everyone is truly involved, with a real sense of professionalism, all in a relaxed atmosphere!

  5. What is the most unusual request you have ever had?
    An appointment during which I discovered that the 3 people facing me were the husband, his wife and the lover. They came to inquire about the financing of the balance that the wife had to pay to her future ex-husband. But contrary to what you might think, it wasn't the lover who was uncomfortable, but mainly me, and the atmosphere was not at all electric, it was actually quite relaxed!

  6. What is your greatest achievement at atHomeFinance?
    Having managed to get the position of Business Developer created within atHomeFinance. It's a position that is very important to me! It allows me to be in permanent contact with real estate professionals in order to provide them with a real service. Thus, more than a hundred partnership agreements based on a win-win agreement have been signed, with a record of 23 agreements set up in September!

  7. Explain to us how agents work with atHomeFinance.
    Real Estate Professionals have the possibility to become partners of atHomeFinance by signing a business indicator agreement. This allows us to offer our clients an additional complete service, totally free of charge, and to accompany them from the beginning of their project with the calculation of the borrowing capacity and the search for the property until the finalisation thanks to the bank agreement obtained through our intermediary.  
  8. If you had one piece of advice for people who want to take out a mortgage, what would it be?
    Use a broker and more particularly the expert brokers of atHomeFinance! This allows an optimisation of the financing solution sought by a client who wishes to take out a home loan. Knowing that the service we offer is completely free for our customers!
