On 26 May 2018, the 2^ème edition of the Schleck Gran Fondo in Mondorf-les-Bains! This is the opportunity for atHome.lu, partner of the event, to take a look at the property prices on the race routes, both of which cover the east of the country.

85 km is the distance to cycle if you take part in the Medio Fondo. For the more sporty, the Gran Fondo is a 155 km loop that will take you to Beaufort.

The Medio Fondo: Mondorf in Lenningen

Mondorf-les-bains, the starting point of the race, has an average price of 459,500 euros for flats and 652,875 euros for a house. On the Medio Fondo route, it is the cheapest city to invest in real estate.

In contrast, Lenningen has the highest property prices. It costs 860,875 euros to own a house.

The Gran Fondo, from Grevenmacher to Junglinster

The cycling champions will continue their race further north, where property is becoming more affordable overall.

In particular in the municipalities of Beaufort or Grevenmacher. In the latter, a flat is priced at an average of 385,944 euros, while a house is traded at around 569,000 euros. However, as you move closer to the centre of the country, in Junglinster, property prices tend to rise, especially for houses.
