Each district of the city has its own identity, some of which appeal more to families, while others, on the contrary, attract a majority of young professionals. There are, however, some districts that are particularly popular with those who have a real estate project. From all the searches carried out on atHome.lu, we have compiled a ranking of the most popular districts for those looking for a home in the capital.

Top 5 districts most wanted in Luxembourg City for a property purchase

The Bonnevoie district Bonnevoie is at the top of our ranking of the most sought-after districts in Luxembourg City for buying a home. Benefiting from "lower" property prices, Bonnevoie has now become the number one district in terms of searches on atHome.lu. Here the The average price of a home is €8,657/m2. This is lower than the average price in the capital, which is €9,542/m2.

The podium of our Top 5 is completed by the city centre in second place and the Gasperich district in third place. The latter makes its first appearance in our top three!
