Property search: how to choose your visits

When you want to buy a property, it's useless or even counterproductive to visit so many places: your dream house could be passed over because you were elsewhere when it attracted someone else. Three steps to get organised.

1- Define your project precisely

Defining your real estate project means first of all knowing exactly what budget you have. To do this, calculate your borrowing capacity on atHomeFinance.
Then you choose the location of your future home and draw up a list of your needs: desired surface area, number of bedrooms, possible proximity to schools and shops, etc. To these needs, you can of course add criteria that correspond to your expectations and that you consider to be more or less compulsory: do you want an open or separate kitchen, an outdoor space, a bathtub? 2- Targeting interesting properties

Now is the time to open your computer and/or contact a real estate agency. It may be that for the same budget, a property will meet more criteria. 3- Organise visits

You may need to be a little patient, depending on the type of property and the geographical area, it can take several months to find the ideal property.
