Spring is a good time to sell

We don't always know it, but real estate is a seasonal market. In other words, there are certain periods that are more favourable than others for selling a property. And spring is the first of these!
Buyer morale
Spring is a time for projects of all kinds, a season when people emerge from the winter gloom and find a renewed desire to move forward. This enthusiasm has an impact on the number of property buyers who, from February/March onwards, start to consult the advertisements. Spring is indeed the ideal time to sell a flat or a house, but often for more pragmatic reasons than just a good mood.
Buyers who will move in the summer
When the weather is fine, the volume of real estate transactions soars. The peak is reached at the end of the second quarter, in June. The period between April and June is the best time for sellers, as this is when there are the most buyers (and therefore opportunities). This makes sense: families, in particular, want to be in their new home for the start of the school year, especially if they are from another country, and if you count the three months between the signing of the compromis and the signing of the deed of sale, they move in during the summer. This is ideal!
Selling at a good price
On the other hand, a large number of buyers means stiff competition and therefore a rise in prices: you therefore have a better chance of selling your property at the desired price, provided you have assessed its value properly, of course.
What are the property prices at the moment?
