Our tips for spring decorating

Even if the warm weather is still a long way off, there's nothing to stop you from getting a head start by warming up your home with spring decor. Flowers, colours and light fabrics... we've found the essentials for spring decorating for you!

Floral print a little, a lot, a lot

Spring decorating puts flowers in the spotlight by opting for field flower motifs with a touch of retro. They are mainly found in the tableware section, where mugs, teapots and trays are available in very natural versions in a romantic or bohemian style. Vintage floral tableware is also making a comeback, with maxi motifs or discreet prints.

Very chic, translucent tableware plays the delicate card. Choose transparent, sculpted glasses, preferably on stems, and match them with light green table linen. If you are not tempted by the bucolic style, white crockery is still a safe bet and can be found in a lace or cut-out earthenware style.

As far as floral arrangements are concerned, the vases are transparent so that you can better see what's inside! And this year, we're adding fruit to the flower water: limes, orange peels, red fruit...

Dare to colour your interior

Forget the Scandinavian style with its clean lines and sober tones, this spring we opt for warm and sunny colours. Green is one of the trendy colours of the season. It comes in all shades, from forest green to water green and the very tonic aniseed green.

To brighten up your interior, add a touch of colour by playing with colourful cushions or by integrating a yellow or red armchair. As for our curtains, we like them transparent in shades of yellow, green, blue or even slightly pink.

Another decorating tip is to take advantage of Easter to buy a few offbeat decorative objects and above all, don't resist the great return of cacti, whose species can be mixed to create original compositions.

Bring in nature

Brightening up our tables has never been so easy! Twigs, branches, wild flowers... the big trend in decoration is to bring nature into your home. Take advantage of a walk to bring back something to compose your floral arrangements. Ivy wrapped around a bed frame, a large leaf in the heart of a translucent maxi vase, a sprig of wheat to surround your cutlery... with a little imagination, creating a spring interior is child's play.
