Wallpaper is a trend!

The first piece of good news is that you can say goodbye to the huge table, the balancing act and the glued fingers to put up wallpaper: today, the glue is applied directly to the wall with a roller. In short, you no longer have any excuse not to think about wallpaper if you want to revive a room, whether it's the bedroom, the living room or the dining room! In fact, if you have in mind your grandmother's room with walls covered in flowered paper, forget about that idea right away, wallpaper is back in fashion.

Creating an atmosphere

Of course, the first rule of wallpaper installation in 2017 is - precisely - not to put it everywhere. On a wall or even a portion of a wall, it is the wallpaper that will create the atmosphere in a room. And speaking of moods, today's wallpapers leave you spoilt for choice: tropical, graphic, seventies, Scandinavian, Japanese... the list is almost endless! And all it takes is a few strips to bring colour back to an entire room.

Wallpaper... on the ceiling

As mentioned, wallpaper is used in a variety of ways these days. In the bedroom, for example, you can create a headboard. In the living room, it can mark the separation between the living room and the dining room. But there are more original uses for wallpaper, and the first of these is... the ceiling. Effect guaranteed! To brighten up a room, you can choose to put it on the ceiling only, or in a wall/ceiling alignment, or even a harmony between the bottom of the wall and the ceiling. Note that trompe-l'oeil wallpapers are the most suitable.
