Decorating tips for a warm bathroom

Whether you wake up with a nice shower in the morning or enjoy a bath in the evening, the bathroom is by definition a room dedicated to relaxation. Our tips for making it more welcoming.

Choose the right colour

The days of the all-white or even sky-blue bathroom, including walls and furniture, are over! For a warm bathroom, you can of course rely on white and other light tones, but remember to liven them up with natural or coloured furniture and accessories. But of course it all depends on your taste. Bright colours will bring a touch of pep, while taupe, pearl grey or chocolate tones will create a "cocooning" atmosphere.

Natural materials

With Scandinavian influences, wood is now king in the bathroom, from the furniture to the basins, which are also available in bamboo. You can even cheat by laying a false parquet floor. That said, wood is not the only natural material to favour in a bathroom: you can perfectly well prefer stone, for a more design-oriented decoration.

Accessories to match your image

A warm bathroom is one where you simply feel good. And that's where the accessories come in. You can keep the room uncluttered and keep the Asian style clean by adding a few touches of greenery (bamboo first), or you can add more accessories (shower curtain, mirror, towel rack...) in flashy colours if you want the mood to be right.

Simple tips for a good facelift

Giving your bathroom the atmosphere you want doesn't have to mean emptying your bank account or committing to major building work. There are some very simple solutions, such as adding stickers to decorate the tiles, improving the lighting with soft light bulbs on the ceiling and brighter light above the mirror, laying a vinyl floor, etc. Installing a mirror will visually enlarge the space for small bathrooms. Even a simple carpet or the colour of the bathroom linen can help to make your bathroom more welcoming!
