This increase is particularly driven by the so-called "small surface" houses with 2 bedrooms, which have seen an increase of 9% over this period. This category of property is quite rare in the market offer (only 10% of ads on atHome.lu in this category), which may explain this price increase.

3 bedrooms 2 034 €
4 bedrooms 2 561 €
5 rooms 3 243 €
6 rooms and more 3 657 €

A significant offer in the centre

In Luxembourg, more than half of the rental properties are located in the centre of the country. On atHome.lu, 59 % of the rental ads are indeed located in the Centre region!
Most of these are flats that are offered for rent. It represents 90% of the housing for rent in this region.

This substantial supply meets a strong demand for this type of housing. In Luxembourg City in particular, this has the effect of pushing up rental prices, well above the national average.
