Diekirch is the capital of the municipality and canton of the same name.
Together with the municipalities of Bettendorf, Colmar-Berg, Ettelbruck, Erpeldange-sur-Sûre and Schieren, Diekirch is part of the Nordstad, an urban area and a development pole in the north of the country.

In the north of the Grand Duchy, on the banks of the river Sûre, the town of Diekirch offers its inhabitants a peaceful living environment.
The community of Diekirch is nestled in a particularly attractive natural setting. It is a wonderful place to live, with a state-of-the-art educational, sports and cultural infrastructure.

Historically, Diekirch was mainly a military town. Today, the municipality is still an important centre of state activity, but more in the administrative sector. This large-scale project will cover two hectares and will provide 185 flats.

Finally, in terms of transport, the railway station, located on the Diekirch-Ettelbruck line 10, provides easy access to the south of the country and the capital as well as to the north and Belgium.
